Together they’re riding a tide of danger, magic, and lust…but with killers stalking their every move, they must use any means necessary, even each other, to survive—until the shocking secret of one woman’s destiny finally unravels…

My Review:

OK so I totally ruined the ending of this one for myself. I was converting my Ebook file to read on my iPhone because I couldn’t wait until the next day to read the paperback on my shelf (impatient yes, do I care, no) and somehow in the process the chapters got mixed up so I read the epilogue at the start.

Aside from spoiling some of the suspense though, it didn’t do anything to dampen the awesomeness of this book. As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, I read and loved the Riley Jensen series by Keri as well, and this new series has the same great writing style but with new worlds and characters to explore.

The book delves into the world of sea and air dragons. The humans don’t know about those who can change into dragons, except a group of scientists who are capturing and studying them. Destiny escapes the compound where she and other dragons, including her mother, are being held. But now she has to go back and save the others, without getting caught again.

It was so fun and I loved Destiny and Trae. I ate this one up and can’t wait to read Mercy Burns (Book 2) when it comes out!

If you liked;

The Riley Jensen Guardian Series by Keri Arthur, The Women of the Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong, or wanted a PR version of Jennifer Scales by MaryJanice Davidson you should check this one out.
