Review: The Riley Jensen Guardian Series
Author: Keri Arthur
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Page Count: 9 books @ aprx. 400 pages each.
Rating: 5/5
Book 1 Description:
Riley Jenson is a dhampire (part vampire, part werewolf), who works for Melbourne's Directorate of Other Races, a government agency that polices the supernatural races. Riley is a “paper pusher” with a desk job and wants to stay that way, but her twin brother Rhoan is a guardian, a glorified assassin. When Rhoan goes missing, Riley must go into the field to find him.
My Review:
That’s just the beginning of course, but I didn’t want to spoil anything! There is plenty of action and romance and great plot twists.I found that Riley was a great character; strong, independent and believable. She didn’t like killing people or torture and often regretted giving in to her inner animal.
The love rollercoaster was a fun ride for sure, and I was very pleased with the way things turned out in the end.
The supporting cast was awesome and the variety of supernaturals that Keri explored was really captivating.
*sidebar* I’m a fan of the UK covers but they haven’t released 4-6 yet so those are the US ones.
